Blurb Writing: $55 (includes two sets of revisions)

I'll work with you to either tweak and polish an existing blurb or help you craft a better one. You provide the info about your book, I'll provide a well-crafted blurb using your words and voice and my decade of blurb-writing experience.

 

Pitch Writing: $30 for 2-3 pitches (includes multiple revisions to tweak)

Whether you're pitching on Twitter or in person at a conference (or on Zoom for the time being) I'll help you craft a pitch that gets your book across in the catchiest way with as few words as possible. I've been doing live pitches for the past ten years and have sold every book I've pitched. 

 

Query and Synopsis Writing: pricing based on needs

Want to query agents or editors? Need advice on the entire process? Just need help honing your query? Confused about what a synopsis entails or how to write one? I can help with every stage of the querying process from narrowing down your list of agents to making sure your word count is in the right range and you've selected the right genre(s) to fit your work.

 

Query Package Critique: $125 (with one round of revisions for the query)

I will read and critique your query letter, synopsis and first chapter to make sure your submission package is ready to go. Additional chapters can be critiqued at the rate of $35/hour.

 

Want to chat? $50 for a one hour consultation 

We can Skype, Zoom or talk on the phone about any aspect of publishing---should you self-pub or submit directly to publishers or try for an agent? Do you need a penname? Do you need a second penname for a different genre? Are you not sure what genre or sub genre your book is? Is your plot giving you nightmares and you need someone to untangle it? Whatever questions you have, I probably have answers!
